72,000 Square Ft Home Under Construction At Highlandville MO!

Here's an inside look at the 72,000 square foot home being built at Highlandville MO, just a few miles S of Ozark MO. This home is larger than the White House and is the fourth largest home in the US.

We live just a few miles N so this has been an interesting topic of discussion around town. I was a bit ticked off that in the Today Show story they said residents thought it was aliens building it. No one around here has had such a ridiculous idea. The other story going around about Brad and Angelina building a home has a little more credibility since he is from Springfield MO and his brother lives here.

We were also interviewed a few months ago by AOL Real Estate about the massive home under construction. The lady interviewing us had heard the story about Brad and Angelina possibly building a home in the area and we told her this wasn't their home. We have received several calls asking details about the Huff building after we wrote about the Highlandville Castle in our ActiveRain real estate blog.

Saw that on the Today show this morning.  It was a very interesting story.  I'd love to see the home when it's done.

Now this is one amazing house.. especially the green features.  So who IS building this house?

If they are looking for an architect for kitchen/bath/bedroom design, contact Norm Yates Camdenton, MO. You may also contact me @ 630-750-4255; da-spencer@att.net

Nancy, you don't realize how big it is until you see if from about a mile away!

Joan, it the Steven Huff family and friends?

David, I think they have all the construction details already nailed down.

This is an amazing story, and in the world of downsizing, it's fun to see someone react in a way that leaders tend to do.

Boy, that is a "little over the top".  But, if it can happen right there in Missouri, great for the locals who can cash in on the tourism business.  I would hate for that to happen in Zimmerman.
