ABC's Extreme Makover Home Edition To Build Project In Joplin MO

Extreme MakoverOur friends and neighbors in Joplin MO will be blessed with 7,000 - 9,000 volunteers starting Oct 19th to perform an Extreme Makeover.

The popular ABC television show "Extreme Makover Home Edition" will be filming in Joplin for a week. Details of the project are still a secret; however, the build will include multiple structures that will benefit survivors of the unimaginable F5 tornado that destroyed over 7,000 homes in May.

This should again draw national attention to the rebuilding efforts in Joplin. If you would like to volunteer for the project please visit their website www.joinextreme.com/joplin

I was glad to read your previous post about Dog Fest, but this is very important, too.  I am glad to see that ABC is taking an interest in helping Joplin recover.  I would be there except for the distance.  Good luck to everyone working on this important rebuilding project.

And thanks to you for keeping us informed.  I hope you will follow up with progess updates.
