- Curb Appeal - It doesn't matter how nice your home is inside if buyers drive on by. The outside of your home needs to look spectacular! Keep the lawn mowed and trimmed, plant colorful flowers in beds or pots, keep trash cans, bicycles, toys, and other objects put away, and don't park cars in your driveway or in the street in front of your home.
- Stage your home - clean, declutter, and depersonalize your home. Pack up extra stuff you don't need and put it in storage. You'll need to do it anyway when we sell your home. This allows potential buyers to visualize themselves in the home instead of being distracted by your photographs, etc... Staging is also giving each room a specific purpose which is different than interior decorating.
- Price your home according to the market. Face it, you won't get what your home was worth at the peak of the real estate bubble, but on the other hand you can turn around and buy more home than you could afford then too.
