We woke up a few days ago and heard a strange buzzing noise. After a little checking, we figured out it was the alarm on our septic system going off because the pump had stopped working and the water level was high. We called in a professional and learned that the pump was completely fried. Unfortunately they were booked up for a couple of days before they could replace the pump.
A couple of days without indoor plumbing was enough! Thank goodness we can now wash clothes again and take normal showers! If your home in Ozark has a septic system, make sure to have it serviced every three years and if the alarm goes off call in a professional immediately. If we had ignored it, we would have had a much bigger mess on our hands.
