Is It Required To Have A Septic Tank Inspected To Sell A Home In Stone County MO?
We've had a few questions about this lately. Starting in 2011 homes with septic systems at least 10 years old will require an inspection by the Stone County Health Department. All homes with septic tanks will have to go to the health department to get a certificate prior to selling their home regardless of their age. Only the ones 10 years and older need the inspection. This will be required by closing.
